Rumeka J. (Administrative Assistant)
Rumeka Johns is the Administrative Assistant at Turning Point Interventions. Ms. Johns holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Bluefield University (2014) and a Masters in Human Services: Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University (2016). Rumeka started her career in the medical field in 2010 and migrated into the Behavioral health field in 2019, in which she has been working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult and Child (QMHP-A & C) for the past 5 years. She has been serving her community by contributing her time and effort to help those whose mental health and wellbeing has been affected. Rumeka promotes mental health awareness and encourages those who are suffering to seek help, utilize their resources, and find a support network to improve their quality of life.
When she is not helping others, Rumeka loves spending quality time with her two sons, being around family and friends, cooking, visiting museums/historic sites, reading, and going to bookstores, and shopping.
